Fleming reports for the week ending Oct. 1, 1879 : — Wholesale prices, oats, 2s to 2s 3d per bushel ; milling wheat, 4s 6d to 4s 9d per bushel ; chicks, 3s Gd to 3s 9d ; barley, malting, 5s Gd per bushel ; feed. 3s to 3s 6d f pollard, £5 10s per ton ; bran, £5 5s per ton ; flour, £11 10s to £12 per ton ; oatmeal, £13 10s per ton ; potatoes, £5 per ton ; hay, £4 per ton ; chaff, £4 to £4 10s per ton ; straw, £2s 5s per ton ; onions, 18s per cwt.
