Societies*. HIBERNIAN AUSTRALASIAN CATHOLIC BENEFIT SOCIETY. (Registered under the "Friendly Societies' Acts" of Victoria, New South Wales, and Sew. Zealand.") CjT. JOSEPH'S BRANCH, No. 73, which is under the authority of the Executive Directory, Melbourne, meets in St. Joseph's School-room every Mondaj fortnight, at 8 p.m. The Entrance Fee and rates of Subscription will be found to compare favorably with those charged by other societies, and are as moderate as practicable, having due regard to fhe benefits secured The following is a Synopsis of these : — " A Benefit Member receives during illness £1' per week for twenty-sixcon-secufive weeks, 15s. for the next thirteen weeks, and 19s. for a further period of" twenty-six weeks ; on death of wife, £10 ; at his own death, his relatives receive £20. He lias medical attendance and medicine for himself and family immediately civ joining ; if a single man, with a widowed mother and brothers or sisters under 18 years of age, he has medicar attendance and medicine for them. A member removing has a clearance, which admits him into the Branch of the Society in the locality to which he moves. Honorary and Life Honorary Members are provided f6r; and may, on payment of a small weekly contribution, secure medical attendance." ©atholics should lose no time in joining the Society. FSED. J.
