APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Whangarei.— James Alec Baker, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 337.)

Kawakawa. — Jonah Wiki, alias Joseph Wiki, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942, page 468, and Photographs, 1937, page 52, died in the Kawakawa Hospital on 15th ultimo, as a result of injuries received in a motor accident.

Devonport. — Bernard Holmes, breaking out of ship Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 297.)

Auckland. — William Melville Blue, absent from Air Force, has been arrested by the Nelson police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 751.)

Auckland. — William McDonald, alias Joseph James Groonotte, default of maintenance and bigamy, has been arrested and interviewed by the Taumarunui and Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, pages 293 and 541.)

Auckland. — William Edwin Goldsmith, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 485.)

Auckland. — William Richmond Corbett, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 559.)

Auckland.— Sydney Max Groat, default of maintenance : The warrant has been executed by the Hamilton police, (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 595.)

Auckland. Leslie Richards, alias Whitham, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 595.)

Auckland. — Moses Tito, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Dargaville police. He assumed the name Peter Smith. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 406.)

Auckland. — Selwyn Wilson, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 749.)

Auckland. — Dawn Conroy, missing, has been located by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 369.)

Onehunga. — Allen Edward Ross, false statement, has been served with the summons by the Burnham police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 579.)

Ngongotaha. — Tipinui Rapana, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 613.)

Te Awamutu.— John Burns Crichton, escaping from prison, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 613.)

Feilding. — Frank Cyril Hill, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 474.)

Lower Hutt.— Ernest Moore Burrows, theft, has been arrested by the Lower Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 710.)

Wellington.— Ernest Moore Burrows, alias Ernest Burrows, theft, has been arrested by the Lower Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 710.)

Wellington. — Ernest Burrows, theft, has been arrested by the Lower Hutt police. He is identical with Ernest Moore Burrows. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 824.)

Wellington. — Alexander Moon, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Lower Hutt police. He is identical with Alec Moon. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 520.)

Wellington.— Martin Patrick Boyle, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Foxton police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 196.)

Wellington.— Colin Lyall Mervyn Croskery, failing to maintain: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 701.)

Nelson. — James Arthur Edwin Watson, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, pages 524 and 560.)

Dunedin.— Allan Mervyn David Rowe, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1945, page 601) : The offences “ false pretences (5 charges) ” are incorrect, and should read “ false pretences (8 charges).” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
