APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — David Hill, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Huntly police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 421.)

Auckland. — Albert Irishman, found on licensed premises during prohibited hours, has been served with the summons by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 425.)

Auckland. — Alan Burnett Brenkley, deserting Army, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 718.)

Auckland. — Rove!! Herbert Alexander Cropp, absent from Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 249.)

Auckland.— -Percival Denis Mahoney, alias David Percival Mahoney, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 421.)

Auckland. — Alfred Brown Gillard, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Otahuhu police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 424.)

Auckland. John Albert Donaldson, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Paekakariki police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 435.)

Hamilton.—' Wilfred Roland McQuolti, alias Reeves, assuming name, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 872.)

Hamilton. Wilfred Roland McQuoid, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 549.)

Tokaanu. — Jack Selwyn Baker, escaping from defaulters’ camp, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 317.)

Wellington.— Gerald Thomas Silk, alias Patrick Higgins, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police and he admitted the offence, but the overcoat has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 31.)

Wellington.— Melville Francis Fry, alias Melville Carlson theft, has been arrested by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 422.)

Wellington. George William Lowe, alias Low, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 909, and Photographs, 1925, page 3, died at Wellington on Bth instant.

Wharf (Wellington). Winston Ernest Flood, deserting ship: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 401.)

Greymouth. — T. Watson, false pretences : Allan Mervyn David Rowe has been arrested for these offences by the Culverden police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, pages 401 and 402.)
