Whangarei. — Hector Roy Gourlay, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He assumed the name Roy Fox. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 465.)
Whangarei. —Hector Roy Gourlay, alias Roy Roberts, fail ing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wellington police, (See Police Gazette, 1945, pages 139 and 247.)
Auckland. — John Casey, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 290, and Photographs, 1926, page 18, was found dead at Wellington on 19th instant.
Auckland. — Cyril Claude Desmond Griffin, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Paeroa police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 273.)
Auckland. Sydney or Sid Hoani, default of fines and costs : The warrants have been executed by the Papakura police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 293.)
Auckland. — Wanklyn, absent from Army, &c., has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 552.)
Auckland. Winston Fish, absent from Air Force, has been arrested by the Howick police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 297.)
Auckland. —Henry Tewhiu, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1944, page 763): On 28th ultimo, the Court of Appeal varied the sentence of “ 2 years’ H.L. and 1 year’s R.D. on each ” to “ 2 years’ R.D.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
Auckland. Mansell Holloway, alias Holloway Nihe, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1944, page 847): On 28th,ultimo, the Court of Appeal varied the sentence of “ 1£ years’ H.L. and 1 year’s R.D. on each ”to “ 2 years’ R.D.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.,-
Thames. — Joseph Tainui, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 75.)
Pukekohe. —Henry Ripi, housebreaking with intent, has been arrested by the Pukekohe police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 274.)
Hamilton.— James Thomas Pell, absent from Air Force, has been arrested. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 891.)
Natter.— Gustav Albert Pettersen, alias George Alfred Patterson, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 247.)
Featherston. — Samuel Sturgess, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Otahuhu police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 274.)
Lower — Maureen Fisher, alias Bobbie stove, breaches of the Industrial Man-power Emergency Regulations, has been served with the summonses by the Auckland ' police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 156.)
. Wellington. — Alfred Robert Strahl, referred to in Police Gazette, 1943, page 617, was accidentally killed at Nelson on 18th instant.
Wellington.— Leonard Ralph Hale, absent from Air Force, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1944, page 335.)
Christchurch. Patrick Christopher Clough, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Islington police. (See Police Gazette, 1945, page 274.)
