UNCLAIMED PROPERTY
Kaeo. — The property described below was found in clothing which Paranihi Dardenelles, referred to in Police Gazette, 1945, page 14, and Photographs, 1938, page 11, abandoned after he had broken into a store at Kaeo on 27th December last, but the owner has not been located : A gold-coloured metal two-bar brooch, similar to illustration No. 50 in Police Gazette, 1911, page 4, small bead at each end of bar, square shield in centre set with a sapphire in eight-pointed star setting, three gold petals at top and bottom of shield with small pearl in each, bars joined on each side of shield with gold flower each with three petals and curved stork, clasp broken, following engraving on back, “ NB/9/ ■375/-< S/*/” ; rosary beads about 20 in. long with small metal crucifix attached; a 9 ct. gold well-worn wedding ring; a small metal Swiss fob watch, silver-coloured dial with “ Emelson ” on it, Arabic numerals, winder broken ; and a tartan cloth tobacco-pouch with slip-in catch.
