His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Inspector James Sweeney to be a Superintendent in the New Zealand Police Force, the appointment to take effect on and from Ist September, 1944; Inspector Donald Scott to be a Superintendent in the New Zealand Police Force, the appointment to take effect on and from Ist October, 1944; and Sub-Inspector David James Moorhead Hewitt and Sub-Inspector Charles Harley to be Inspectors in the New Zealand Police Force, the appointments to take effect on and from Ist October, 1944. / P.
