Auckland. On or about 4th May last on warrant for theft of £3 10s. in money, the property of Alice Ivy Steel, 78 McCullough Avenue, Mount Roskill, Brian Fleming, age about thirty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., taxi-driver and porter, believed native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair, blue eyes; dressed in a light-grey suit. During March last he was engaged by complainant to drive a taxi, and it was arranged that he receive a third share of the monthly takings, but he disappeared about the end of May without accounting for the takings for that month, and he left the taxi at complainant’s home some time during June. There is another charge pending. He may be identical with Bryan Fleming, referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page. 691. 20I < 1/h(+.
