Whangaret.— Edgar Lawrence Gigg, deserting Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 232.)

Whangarei. — Buddy William McDonald, failing to report for military service, has been arrested by the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 367.)

Dargaville. — Alan Nesbet, default of fines and costs, has paid the amount into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 33.)

Dargaville.— Charlie Unuwar, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Kaikoho police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 269.)

Parnell. — George Albert Edwards, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Wellington police, and he denied the offence. (See Police Gazette. 1941, page 714.)

Auckland. Arthur Cecil Piper, default of maintenance: w Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 289.)

Auckland. — Morris William Relph, absent from Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 333.)

Auckland. — Tu Peipi, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Whakatane police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 351.)

Huntly. James Patrick Wall, inquired for, has paid his Social Security Contributions, and no further action is desired. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 269.)

Hamilton. Michael Lind, alias John Patrick Lynch, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 473.)

Palmerston North. — James Trevor Morgan, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1943, pago 216): On the 14th ultimo the Court of Appeal reduced the sentence of “ 2 years’ reformative detention ” on the charge of unlawfully converting motor-car to “ 1 year’s hard labour,” such sentence to be served concurrently with the sentence of one year on the charge of shopbreaking with intent. All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.

Foxton. — Jack Tahu, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Ohura police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 315.)

Levin. — Mathews, theft, has been arrested by the Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 367.)

Wellington. — Charles Edward Kerr, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1942, page 680.)

Wellington. — Henry Savage, deserting Army, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 697.)

Wellington. — N. Davies, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. His correct name is Norman Owen Davies. (See Police Gazette, 1943, page 109.)
