Rawene. — Thomas Wikaira, escaping from custody, has been arrested by the Onehunga police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 831.)

Kaikohe.Bernard Mohi, unlawfully converting motorvehicle, &c., has been arrested by the Kaikohe police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 787.)

Ponsonby. — I. Parks, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Morrinsville police. His correct name is Walter innocent Parks. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 519.)

Auckland.— Percy Porter, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Te Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 314.)

Auckland.— Gerrard McCarthy, failing to report for medical examination, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 405.)

Auckland.— Charles Hemi, default of fine and costs, died at Auckland on the 23rd September last. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 600.)

Auckland.— Maurice Chadwick, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears to the Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 289.)

Auckland. Arnold Matthews, absent from Army, has been arrested by the military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 833.)

Auckland. Leslie Macdonald, absent from Army Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 854.)

Auckland.— John Gray Kaiki Wetekanga, alias Wetenga, breach of probation: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 871.)

Auckland. Jack Mervyn Appelgren, absent from Army Warrant canceled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 903.)

Thames. — Henry Scott, alias Henry Lorraine Scott, false pretences, has been arrested by the Masterton police, and he admitted these offences. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 731.)

Gisborne. — R. G. Allen, alias Henry Lorraine Scott, false pretences, has been arrested by the Masterton police, and he admitted this offence. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 887.)

New Plymouth. — William Pettersen, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 901.)

Palmerston North. — E. Burgess, alias Henry Lorraine Scott, false pretences, has been arrested by the Masterton police, and he admitted this offence. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 816.)

Palmerston North.— lvan Evans, Stanley Thomas Port, and James Ernest Arthur Ward, escaping from military custody, have been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 903.)

Palmerston North. — Richard IVlcAvoy, deserting Army, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 903.)

Trentham.— Arnold Thomas Bucknell, theft, has been arrested by the Upper Hutt police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 787.)

Wellington. — John McCulloch Forsyth, alias John McCullough Forsyth, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Wellington police. He assumed the name John Arthur Reid. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 747.)

Wellington.—Norman Campbell Pratt, breach of probation, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 773.)

Wellington.Llewelyn Valentine Price, failing to report for military service : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 816.)

Christchurch.— Earl Victor Hazeldine, theft, has been interviewed by the Christchurch police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 712.)

Christchurch.—Harry Thompson, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 872.)

Lyttelton. — Reginald Quirk, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Wellington police. His correct name is Gerald Thomas Quirke. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 758.)

Dunedin. Susan Rosemary Carswell’s watch, &c., stolen: William Kelly, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 473, has been convicted of this offence, but the stolen property has not been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1942, page 759.)
