UNCLAIMED PROPERTY.

Auckland. —The property described hereunder was found in an abandoned motor-car at Manurewa on the Bth December last, but the owners have not been found. The car is the property of Bruce Williams, who is believed to be identical with Richard Humphreys, referred to in Police Gazette, 1942,_ page - 117. and Photographs. 1941. page 24: Two green-grey rugs with brown checks, “ W.T.E.” sewn on one; a grey blanket; a fawn and grey check Mosgiel rug ; a grey check rug ; a khaki shirt, size 6, two breast pockets, branded Corinthian ; a fawn shirt, size 5, branded Amazon Product No. 365 ” ; a grey Standard shirt with red stripes, size 6; a grey flannel Summit shirt with collar attached, size 5 ; a light-grey Masterfused shirt, size 5 ; a pale-green shirt, size 4, branded “ Amazon 365 ” ; a coloured handtowel ; a tartan Summit shirt, size 6; a pair of maroon Roslyn hippies ; a fawn felt hat; a pair of fancy grey socks ; five ties of various colours a blue Kaiapoi jersey with polo neck, S.M. size; two woollen scarves, one black and grey and the other .is black, red, blue, and grey ; two khaki handkerchiefs ; a green Standard sports coat, about size 4; a Donegal tweed Petone sports coat, size 5, leather buttons; four pairs of sports trousers, about size 5, one pair blue-grey, one dark-grey, one light-grey with dark stripes, and the other pair fawn with dark stripes ; a doublebreasted cream-coloured Windsor rubber raincoat with grey and brown check lining, about size 5; a fawn Invincible raincoat lined with red tartan silk, size 5 ; an oilskin coat with cape, size 5, clip-fasteners; an Ingersol Yankee openface pocket watch ; a leather pocket-purse ; a pair of darkbrown leather gauntlets lined with rabbit-skin fur; a pair of black leather shoes, size 7 ; a pair of oilskin leggings with dome clips, size 3, branded “ Fine Home Dry Japara No. 78 ” ; a motor-car compass with fawn dial and white numerals, cream-coloured composition case with chromium band around centre, branded “ U.S. Gauge Coy., New York ” ; a gilt-painted ship’s compass mounted on wood, 5 in. dial; an extension telescope in brown leather case with strap; a canvas sail jib, 9 ft. 6 in. by 7 ft. 10 in. by 9 ft. 4 in.; a Keystone panel-saw; a small Eastman Kodak camera, No. A. 127 ; a tin of cruiser-grey Dynamel; a jar of petroleum jelly ; a pair of horn-rimmed spectacles in blue case ; a pair of rimmed spectacles in case which is branded “ L. Petone. The bicycle described hereunder was found abandoned in the Esplanade on the 12th December last, and the owner has not been found: A gentlemen’s black, No. 29634, upturned handle-bars without grips, Bates rubber saddle the front spring of which is tied with wire, black tires, rat-trap pedals, Bosch dynamo, Berko head-lamp, rear carrier.
