Auckland.— Between the 13th and 19th May last, from a railway wagon between Huntly and Auckland, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railways Department), a 1936 model seven-valve all-wave Courier radio chassis, No. 24983; a 1939 model eight-valve all-wave Courier radio chassis; three speaker transformers, probably aluminium coloured ; and two oblong electric-oven elements; total value, £54 13s. 6d. Seven-valve radio identifiable.

Auckland. Between the 22nd and 29th April last, from a hut at Grcenhithe, the property of PROFESSOR CHARLES ANDREW COTTON, Victoria University, Wellington, an old brass telescope of marine type, covered with white canvas, 3 ft. extension; and a pair of black binoculars (known as marine night glasses), large non-prismatic lenses; total value, £3. Telescope identifiable.

Auckland.— l2th August last, from the dwelling of ARTHUR HALL, 78 Ladies’ Mile. Remuera, a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold open-face key-wind English watch, gold dial, hands, and Roman numerals, back case engine turned, “ FusseChain ” movement; a gentlemen’s 18 ct. gold watch-chain, about 12 in. long, flat oblong links about J in. long, gold spring clip at each end with watch key on one, repaired with fine gold wire near one end; a gentlemen’s silver open-face watch, white dial, black Roman numerals, not in working order ; a gold chased bar brooch, about 2 in. long, mounted with a Staffordshire knot of gold tubing about j- in. in diameter ; two old-gold bar brooches; an 18 ct. gold chased bangle of D-section tubing in two pieces; two 18 ct. gold old heavy wedding rings ; a ladies’ gold signet ring, shieldshaped plate on top ; a gold-plated sovereign- about size of a penny ; and about thirty silver, nickel, and copper coins, and tokens of various denominations (some foreign); total value, £36 10s. Auckland.— 3oth July last, from a motor-lorry between Freeman’s Bay and Devonport Naval Base, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Post and Telegraph Department), a green tarpaulin, 28 ft. by 12 ft., brass eyelets with 18 in. of £ in. rope attached to each, “ P. & T.” and broad arrow on one corner ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Auckland. —19th July last, from a cubicle in the tepid baths, the property of COLIN ROGER HULL, 35 Wynyard Road, Mount Eden, a gentlemen’s silver round wristlet watch with luminous dial, “ C. R. F. Bell ” on inside back case ; and Is. 9d. in money ; total value, £3 Is. 9d. Watch identifiable.

Otahuhu, — 17th or 18th ultimo, from a room in King’s College, the property of KING’S COLLEGE TRUSTEES, a black metal round Westclox alarm clock with white dial, Arabic numerals ; a barometer, brass case with glass front about 5 in. in diameter, ring on top ; total value, £3 18s. 6d. Barometer identifiable.
