APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— John Turei, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Tokaanu police. He is identical with Johnnie Turei, referred to in Police Gazette, 1941, page 462. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 646.)

Auckland.— Henry Arthur Esdale, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 573.)

Auckland.— Francis Anthony Scanlan, inquired for, has been located by the Waiuta police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 646.)

Auckland. John Aston, inquired for, has been located by the Tc Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 646.)

Auckland.— Roy Valentine Burgess, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Mount Cook police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 659.)

Auckland. John Rikiti, absent fron army, has been arrested by the Te Puke police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 663.)

Auckland.— Sydney Howe, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Dargaville police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 648.)

Auckland.— George Stanley Skinner, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Putaruru police. He is identical with a man of the same name referred to in Police Gazette, 1939, page 915, and Photographs, 1936, page 65. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 627.)

Auckland.— Percival Galvin, absent from Army, has returned to camp: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 648.)

Auckland.— Frederick Patrick Jones, default of fine and costs: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 787.)

Pukekohe.— John Thomas Head, referred to in Police Gazette, 1933, page 593, died at Auckland on the 15th instant.

Te Puke.— Graham Wilfred Morton, lan Carr Douglas, and Leslie Jack Davis, suspected of breaking, entering, and theft, have been interviewed by the Christchurch police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 542.)

Gisrorne.— Smith Wilkinson, theft: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1926, pages 143 and 190.)

Palmerston North.— Herbert William Lee, alias Harold Middleton Lee, referred to in Police Gazette, 1934, page 439, and Photographs, 1932, page 83, died at Auckland on 27th June last under the name Leonard Hugh Wilson.

Johnsonville.— Potter, escaping from mental hospital, has been arrested by the Ohakune police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 677.)

Wellington.— Francis James Godwin, absent from Army, has been arrested by the Military authorities. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 37.)

Dunedin.— The unclaimed wool has been delivered to the owner. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 663.)
