In incurring a debt of £l2 for taxi-hire from Dannevirke to Wellington, he obtained credit from Kenneth Arthur Wall, taxi-proprietor, Mangatera, by fraudulently representing that he had the money to pay for it. Olsen recently opened an account in the Bank of New South Wales, Dannevirke, by depositing £2, and on the sth instant when the account showed a credit of 16s. 4d., he issued a cheque for £l2 to complainant.
