APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — Hugh Sydney Charles Barlow, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Bay View police. (See Police Gazette, 1940, page 210.)

Auckland. John Alfred Shannon McGrann, inquired for, has been located by the Akaroa police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1941, page 139.)

Tauranga. — Frank FitzwilEiams, alias “The Fowl,”unlawfully on racecourse, has been served with the summons by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 296.)

Te Puke. Gordon Hobbs, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Napier police, and inquiries revealed that he was not in the Te Puke district at the time this offence was committed. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 241.)

Dannevirke. — Gordon Hobbs, suspected of theft, has been arrested by the Waipukurau police, and he admitted these offences. The stolen property has been recovered by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 297.)

Lower Hutt.—Sydney James Robertson, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Lyall Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 158.)

Wellington.— Alfred Leon Hogarth-Gill, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Hamilton police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1941, page 174.)

Wellington.— Richard Samuel Thomas, indecent act, has been arrested by the Wairoa police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 192.)

Wellington. —John Roy McCallum, inquired for: No further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 128.)

Nelson. Thomas Edward Lionel Eastabrook, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Ponsonby police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 286.)

Nelson. — Frank Hallam, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. His correct name is Frank Archer Haiiam. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 336.)

Blenheim. — Francis Thomas Kennedy, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Masterton police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 33.)

Greymouth.Edward Tolhurst, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Rolleston police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 324.)

Hokitika. — Malcolm Arthur Mundy, escaping from mental hospital, has been arrested" by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 240.)

Christchurch. Donald James Jones, alias Thomson, theft: The warrant has been executed by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1941, page 128.)
