+ Tauranga. —2lst ultimo, the dwelling of NORMAN CECIL PAWLEY, Willow Street, was broken into and the following stolen: A pair of black field glasses in blue lined brown leather case,- about 6 in. long, case branded “ 8X ” ; a gilt-coloured two-cell torch ; a small link gold chain about 24 in. long ; a £ in. chromium wrist strap ; and £2 in money; total value, £6 2s. 6d. Palmerston North.— 3rd instant, from - a room at Fearnley Private Hotel, Andrew Young Street, the property of JOHN CORBETT, 597 b Colombo Street, Christchurch, a tan composition suit-ease, about 33 in. by 20 in. by 10 in., twin nickel fasteners; seventy-two tubes of Windsor and Newton’s oil colours (small tubes in boxes of twelve); a light-grey cotton shirt; a blue shirt; a green shirt; a black and white striped shirt (all shirts size 15); a Valet shaving outfit in case about 9 in. by 4 in., with zip fastener ; some handkerchiefs ; and a singlet and underpants ; total value, £lO 9s. lOd. Oamaru.— 23rd December last, from a motor-ear in Kibble Street, the property of RICHARD EDWARD HILL, 19 Granville Terrace, Dunedin, a leather attache-case, 16 in. by 10 in.; r two bottles of whisky ; a bottle of sherry ; a quantity of cigarettes; a light-grey Crean hat, size 7§ in., black band; a ladies’ half-length musquash fur coat, with 2 in. triangular pieces of fur on sides, fit tall woman; an ivory mah jong set with four playing boards, 12 in. by 4 in., tiles 1£ in. by § in., white faces with black backs ; and two books ; total value, £22 10s. Identifiable.

Dunedin. Between the 2nd and 7th instant, a £SO Reserve Bank note, No. T. 016783, the property of the OTAGO FINANCE AND AGENCY CO., LTD., was given in change in mistake for a 10s. note. Any information regarding this bank-note is to be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Dunedin.

Dunedin. During the night of 6th ultimo, the garage of GUSTAVE NEILSON, 766 Princes Street, was broken into and £47 18s. 7£d. in money stolen from the office safe.
