Police Motor Transport.

The scale of mileage allowance to members of the Force using their motor-cars on police duty, as set out in the second paragraph of Circular No. 6/1937 (Police Gazette, 1937, page 384), is amended to the following rates as from Ist April, 1940 :

The mileage will be calculated from the Ist April in each year, and each voucher for mileage allowance should show the total number of miles already paid for since the Ist April.
