PROPERTY RECOVERED.

Auckland.— CHARLES KENT, shop broken into : All the stolen property has been recovered by the Auckland police, and the offender arrested. (See Police Gazette, 1939, page 867.)

Christchurch. AßCHlßALD McKAY’S bicycle has been recovered by the Addington police. (See Police Gazette. 1939, page 968.)

Christchurch. DAVlD MURRAY’S shop broken into: The rifle, No. 105961, and the -303 calibre M.L.E. rifle have been recovered by the Christchurch police, and James Mervyn Philp, referred to in Police Gazette, 1940, page 75, has admitted the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 803.)

Christchurch. —W. H. TISDALL, LTD., premises broken into, &c. (see Police Gazette, 1939, page 200): James Mervyn Philp has been arrested for this and other offences referred to in the notice. Dunedin.— NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Public Works Department), gelignite, &c., stolen: Twenty-three plugs of gelignite and portion of the fuse have been recovered in the bush near Kaikorai. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 122.)
