Auckland. —During the night of 7th ultimo, from a motorcar in the garage of ERIC LLEWELLYN BARKER, 92 Marsden Avenue, Mount Eden, a Kodak Suprema camera, f 3-5 lens, takes twelve photographs 2£ in. by 2-j in., Rapid Compur shutter, bound with black leather, No. 189845 K., contained in brown leather case, about 7 in. by 5 in by 2£ in., small piece out of top to enable use of camera without removing it; and a six-valve Crossley motor-car radio, black with chromium-plated front, metal case, serial No. 4090106 E. 6142, five push-button tuning; total value, £36 10s. Auckland. —During the night of 19th ultimo, from a motor-car in the garage of DUGALL KENNETH DUNCAN, 17 Selwyn Road, Epsom, a five-valve Crossley motor-car radio, push-button tuning, mottled-grey metal case, green lettering on dial; and a motor-car radio aerial, chromium with two rubber grips for hood fittings, 3 ft. long, single spar with short pick-up attached; total value, £l4 10s. Lower Hutt.On the 14th October last, the dwelling of WILLIAM JARVIE, 20 Cudby Street, was broken into and the following stolen : A handbag and two Post Office Savings-bank books (recovered); £l4 in money; and a Lower Hutt Post Office Savings-bank book, No. 394, in tho name Annie Jarvie ; total value, £ls. Bank-book identifiable. The recovered property was later found, apparently having been thrown over a fence at 41 Queen’s Road.

Wellington.—During the night of 29th October last, from Featherston Street, the property of ALLEN KEITH GANE, 56 Ilankey Street, a black Royal Enfield motorcycle with chromium-plated tank, engine No. G.S. 1900, registration No. 20,843 ; value, £35. Identifiable.

Wellington. 2nd November last, the property of HERBERT SELBY RANDALL, 111 Melbourne Road, a gentlemen’s silver open-face 15-jewel keyless Omega pocket watch, “ H. S. A Youth has been arrested for unlawfully converting the motor-car, but he denied stealing the watch.

(recovered) ; a black cash-box with red and gold coloured lines, about 8 in. by 5£ in. by 3 in., containing £1 16s. 7d. cash ; a postal note for 125., No. C. 48539, issued at Wellington ; a postal note for 145., No. B. 25718, issued at Palmerston North; a postal note for 7s. 9d., No. G. 95074, issued at New Plymouth ; a cheque for £2 35., drawn by Briscoe Mills ; a cheque for £7, drawn by Smith and Waite ; a cheque for 65., drawn by M. G. Templeton ; a cheque for £6 15s. 10d., drawn by J. J. Kernohan, Dunedin and a cheque for £2 135., drawn by E. 11. Anderson (all cheques are in favour of Mayer and Kean) ; total value, £22 18s. 2d. (2) Age about thirty-three, height about 5 ft. 6 in., good build, fresh complexion, full face; wearing a light-fawn felt hat and possibly a light-grey raincoat. They were seen in the factory. On the 23rd November last the recovered postal note was cashed at the Thistle Inn Hotel, and a barman there identified the photograph of Foote as that of the first-mentioned suspect. Bd. in Id. and 2d. stamps. Not identifiable.
