He was lost overboard from the launch “Waitamata” about twelve miles out from Urenui, and he was then wearing dark trousers with white stripes, dark shirt, navy-blue sweater, and tan shoes. A lookout is to be kept for the body, which may be washed ashore probably in a northerly direction.
