Freeman’s Bay. Between the 17th and 20th December last, from an office at 198 Victoria Street, the property of ARCHIBALD CLIFFORD BRIDGES, 3 Carlton Gore Road, a twelve base Viceroy piano-accordion, No. 1779, small chip off celluloid where keys fit into frame ; value, £9. Identifiable.

Auckland. 29th December last, from the Cutlery Department, FARMERS’ TRADING CO., Hobson Street, a canteen of cutlery consisting of an oak case, 17|- in. long, 12 in. wide, and 4 in. deep, lined with brown baize, nickel lock in centre, light filled finish, six each of afternoon teaspoons, dessertspoons, soup-spoons, dessert-forks, table-forks, dessertknives, table-knives, fish-knives, fish-forks, teaspoons, four tablespoons, a carving knife and fork, and a steel. The forks and spoons are silver-plated and marked “ E.P.N.S. A 1 Sheffield ” ; fish-knives have xylonite handles and E.P. blades; all * knives are of stainless steel, straight blades with oval xylonite, marked “Sheffield Cutlery, England, Firth-Breafley Stannic ” : value, £8 12s. 6d. During the night of the 27th December last, from the dwelling of WILLIAM HENRY LIGHTFOOT, 16 St. John’s Road, Remuera, a pair of military binoculars, covered with black leatherette, about 6 in. long when closed and about 9 in. long when open, fitted with shades, new adjusting screw ; value, £5 ss. Identifiable.

Auckland. 27th December last, the property of HENRY REED, 11 Coronation Street, Christchurch, a gentlemen’s silver open-face key-wind pocket-watch, well worn case, loose glass, a black ribbon guard with gold shield in centre with “ L.P.A.S.C., H. Reed, 1906 ” on it, gold bar at one end of guard missing; a gold Maltese cross medal, with “ Presented by G. Ryan, fastest time Road Race ” on it attached to shield ; and a gold sovereign-case with “ H.R.” on it: total value, £9 18s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —11th December last, from a cabin on H.M.S. “ Leander,” the property of JOHN CULF, a gentlemen’s silver Tropical wristlet-watch, No. 640 x 61402, “ Benson Ltd., London,” on it, luminous dial, leather wrist-strap attached ; value, £6. Identifiable.

Otahuhu. Between the 29th and 31st December last, from the dwelling of NELLIE BUCKLEY, 36 Princes Street, a gold (probably 18 ct.) engagement ring, set with three diamonds in platinum claw setting, one claw worn; value, £22 10s. Identifiable.

Ellerslie. —l3th ultimo, the property of ERNEST ROBERT DAULTON, Newhaven Street, a ladies’ blue leather purse fastened with two chromium-plated knobs ; a motor-driver’s license in complainant’s name; a police identification-card, issued to Ernest Robert Daulton, No. 2995 ; and £2 10s. in money : total value, £3 19s. Identifiable except money. The property, which was contained in Mrs. Daulton’s purse, was either lost or stolen at Auckland Railway-station, or it may possibly have been inadvertently left in the taxi which conveyed complainant and his wife from the station to their home at Elleslie.
