Kaitaia.— Tony Rameka, suspected of breaking, entering, and theft, has admitted the offence to the Hikurangi and Whangarei police, but the stolen property has not been recovered. His correct name is Antonio Rameka. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 152.)
Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — Laurie Brcdeur and Joseph Luckie, deserting ship, have been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 675.)
Auckland.- John Sherard Rawson, failing to maintain Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 797.)
Hamilton. Mervyn Gibbs, failing to maintain: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 748.)
Te Awamutu. — Edward George Dudley, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 84.)
Eeilding. — Graham Ward-Rice, theft, has been arrested by the Waipukurau police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 596.)
Carterton. Nelson Francis Beals, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 748.)
Wellington. William Edward Goodwin, alias Robert Forbes Reid, alias Cameron, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. He had assumed the name Spencer. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 164.)
Wellington. — Robert Forbes Reid, alias George Goodwin, alias George Forbes Reid, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 480.)
Wellington.— James Patrick convicted (see Police Gazette, 1938, page 801): In the column for “ distinguishing marks ” he is recorded as having a “ scar on left forefinger ” ; this should read “ scar on right forefinger.” All copies of the Police Gazette are to be amended accordingly.
Dunedin. —Denis Driscoll, ship desertion: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1938, pages 422 and 798.)
