MISSING.
Auckland. —Since the 15th ultimo, Desmond Hugh Thompson, age seventeen, height about 5 ft. 3 in., butcher’s assistant, native of New Zealand, good build, fresh complexion, fair hair, blue eyes; dressed in scout’s uniform, and he had with him a small haversack, a grey blanket, and a small tent. Inquiry by his father, Percy Thompson, 33a College Hill, but he is also inquired for by the Auckland police with a view to his being brought before the Children’s Court as a delinquent child. yv /31
Cromwell. Since the Ist May last, Keith Carmichael, age about fifty, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, light-brown hair, blue eyes, does not wear a hat. Inquiry by Henry John Towan, farmer, for whom Carmichael worked for two days, but he left the farm abandoning all his personal effects.
