APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. Nicholas Martin Saunders, alias Sanders, convicted: Died at Auckland on the 17th instant. (See Police Gazette, 1926, pages 165 and 169, and Photographs, page 32.)

Auckland. Winifred Alice Phipps, delinquent child, has been arrested by the Whakatane police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 337.)

Coromandel. Noel Martin, breach of probation, has been charged with the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 285.)

Hamilton. Selwyn George Harris, forgery and uttering, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 251.) — -3-JS/3 3 Gisborne. Waitara. Thomas Roberts, alias Norman Williams, theft, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 337.)

Napier. Selwyn George Harris, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 120.)

Hastings. Selwyn George Harris, unlawfully converting motor-car, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 137.)

Wanganui.— George Burns, theft, has been arrested by the Waitotara police. He is identical with George Edward Bernsee, alias Nelson. (See Police Gazette, 1938, pages 164 and 236.)

Wanganui. —Edgar Louis, missing : His dead body was found in the grounds of the Jessie Hope-Gibbons Home on the 18th instant. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 326.)

Wellington. — Hugh Anthony Parker, alias Edward Tregenza, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 849.)

Wellington. — Hugh Anthony Parker, alias Edward Tregenza, assault and robbery, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 198.)

Wharf (Wellington). W. P. L. Thompson, deserting ship, has been arrested by the Whangarei police. His correct name is William Phillip Lewis Thompson. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 164.)

Mount Cook. — H. Lynch, alias Paddy Lynch, assaulting police, has been arrested by the Lyttelton police. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 252.)

Christchurch. Stanley Edward Richards, convicted (see Police Gazette, 1938, page 307) : His correct name is Sydney Edward Richards.

Christchurch. — Fred Becconsall, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the South Dunedin police. (See Police Gazette, 1937, page 754.)

Christchurch. George E. J. Nickolls, alias Edward Francis Nichoils, inquired for: No further action is to be taken. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 120.)

Christchurch. Francis Henry Gordon Guilford, escaping from prison, has been arrested.by the Dunedin police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1938, page 338.)

Dunedin. —Donald Easton, default of maintenance, has paid the arrears into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1938, page 252.)
