MISSING.
Papakura.- Since the 2nd ultimo, John Birss, age nine and a half years, height, 4 ft. 4 in., schoolboy, Native of New Zealand, freckled face, red hair, blue eyes, dressed in navyblue shorts, and khaki shirt, (no hat, • boots nor stockings). He was under the care of the Education Department, but was boarded out to Blanche Handy, of Ardmore. Fears are entertained for his safety.
Gisborne. —Since the 2nd ultimo, Stephen Charles Waller, age fifty-four, height 5 ft. 8 in., canvasser, native of England, medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, short moustache ; probably dressed in a white suit and straw hat, and wears dark-rimmed spectacles; well spoken. He stayed at the Waimarie Boardinghouse for. six days, but he disappeared on the 2nd ultimo leaving all his effects in his room - Xtocatec!; 22,/^S^.
