Coroner appointed. (See New Zealand Gazette, 1937, page 974.) Department of Justice, Wellington, 7th April, 1937. HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Frederick Knight Hunt, Esquire, of Auckland, to be a Coroner for the Dominion of New Zealand. H. G. R. MASON, Minister of Justice.

Declaring Area to be Closely Populated Locality. (See New Zealand Gazette, 1937, page 977.) IN terms of section 3 of the Motor-vehicles Amendment Act, 1936, I, Robert Semple, Minister of Transport, do hereby declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motorvehicle on any road, street, or other place to which the public have access therein shall be subject to the maximum speedlimit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SCHEDULE. All that area of the County of Heathcoto as at present constituted. Dated at Wellington, this 31st day of March, 1937. R. SEMPLE, Minister of Transport. (TT. 9/15/79.)
