MISSING.
Dunedin. Since the 20th ultimo, Joe Sutherland, age sixteen and a half, height 5 ft. 3 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark hair; dressed in grey flannel trousers and gymnasium shoes, and possibly an overcoat. He was in the care of the Child Welfare Officer, and was licensed out to Robert Kirkland, sheep-farmer, Waikouaiti, but absconded on the 20th ultimo. It is desired that he be returned to the care of a Child W Bluff. William Middlemiss, missing (see Police Gazette, 1937, page 5) : On the 2nd instant he was seen in Queenstown. He was then wearing glasses with greenish lenses, and was dressed in a brown suit and grey felt hat, and was apparently allowing his moustache to grow.
