APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland.— Katherine George, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 641.)

Auckland. -Denholm Gillespie, casting offensive matter, has been served with a summons by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 157.)

Auckland. — Allan Sydney Adams, failing to maintain Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 693.)

Wanganui. William Alfred Bates, failing to maintain, is now deceased. He is identical with Walter William Alfred Bates, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 738. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 2.)

Wellington.— Archibald Cecil Burns, default of balance of fines and costs, has paid the amount to the Wellington South police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 569.)

Wellington. Gustave Hediund, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 626.)

Nelson. Charles McGee, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. He assumed the name George McKenzie. (See Police Gazette, 1922, pages 163 and 228.)

Nelson. — Sidney Clifford Greenhelgh and Leo Raymond R/ScCallum, escaping from Mental Hospital, have been discharged from the Institution. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 597.)

Christchurch. — Maurice Burke, default of fines and costs, lias been arrested by the Greymoutli police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, pages 626 and 641.)

Christchurch. Edward Skilling, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 705.)

Oamaru. John Crowley’s shop broken into: Denham Gillespie, alias Denholm Gillespie, alias John Harris, has been interviewed by the Christchurch police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1936, pages 421 and 598.)

Dunedin. — Rex Norris, alias William George Thomas, alias George William Thomas, alias William Grey, false pretences, has been arrested by the Invercargill police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 146.)
