In accordance with the provisions of the Finance Act, 1936, the following scale of pay and allowances to members of the Force will take effect from Ist July, 1936. Increments to all members of the Force will be calculated from the date of appointment to the respective ranks : Superintendents : To commence at £570 per annum and advance to £615 by annual increments of £ls. Inspectors : To commence at £SOO per annum and advance to £560 by annual increments of £ls.
Sub-Inspectors : To commence at £450 per annum and advance to £4BO by annual increments of £lO. Senior Sergeants and Senior Detectives : To commence at £1 Is. per diem, and advance to £1 2s. per diem by increments of 6d. per diem every two years. Sergeants and Detective-Sergeants: To commence at 19s. per diem and advance to £1 per diem by increments of 6d. per diem every two years. Per Diem. Constables and Detectives— s. d.
