Whangarei.— Jim Hall, alias Bert Taylor, inquired for, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. His correct name is William Robert Taylor, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 234. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 187.)

Auckland.— Reginald Merton Semb, alias Sim, alias Thompson, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 373.)

Auckland.— Bernard Benson Byatt, default of maintenance : Warrant cancelled, (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 315.)

Auckland.- — Walter Melrose Lonergan, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wharf (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 327.)

Auckland.— Rowley, alias Thomas James Rowley, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 535.)

Auckland. — Rangi Edwards, alias Edward Rangaihi Rennie, alias Rangi-Aka, default of balance of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Waitara police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 253.)

Hamilton.— Ernest Heap, convicted of default of maintenance and bigamy, died at Auckland on the 16th March last. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 454.)

Hastings.- — Pearl Ann Davidson, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Waipukurau police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 227.)

Marton. Austin Drummond Peters, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Greymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 404.)

Palmerston North. — Hori George, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Putaruru police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 339.)

Levin.— Jeffrey Francis Evan Turner and Robert John Aitcheson, absconding from State Institution, have been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 734.)

Wellington.- —Allan Eaglesham, default of fine and costs : The Greymouth police have received information that he died early this year at Moscow, Russia. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 276.)

- Wellington. George Selwyn Swanson, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 328.)

Wellington. Roy Phillips, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Wellington police. His correct name is Galvin Davey. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 254.)

Wellington. John Parker, alias Richard Palmer, alias Richard Porter, alias Sanderson, convicted of theft, died at Wellington on the 17th instant. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 468.)

Wellington.— Samuel Edward Coley, alias Patrick O’Brien, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 404.)

Wellington.— Frederick Nathaniel Pilcher, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Ngaruawahia police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 254.)

Nelson.- Robert Edwards, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Sumner police. (See Police Gazette, 1933, page 715.)

Christchurch.— Halford, alias Halfred, convicted of bigamy (see Police Gazette, 1936, page 180). The sentence has been reduced to one year’s H.L.

Christchurch.— William Alexander Welsh, convicted of attempted false pretences (see Police Gazette, 1936, page 180). The sentence has been reduced to one year’s H.L.

Ashburton. Sims, attempted rape, has been arrested by the Ashburton police. (See Police Gazette, 1913, page 745, and 1914, page 84.)

Ashburton. — George Howell, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 420.)

Dunedin.' William Robert Lowe, inquired for, has been interviewed by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1936, page 420.)

Invercargill. — Richard Lee, referred to in Police Gazette, 1936, page 352, has not been photographed, and the words “ Photo at Paparua, 16/12/35 ” are to be deleted from all copies of the Police Gazette.
