SPECIAL NOTICE.
Unidentified Body. Hamilton. —On the 19th instant, the dead body of an Unknown Man was found in a creek which runs through the Public Hospital Grounds. It was much decomposed, and appeared to have been in the water six months or more. Description: Age about sixty to sixty-five, height about 5 ft. 11 in., a European, natural teeth, some of which were missing from front of upper jaw ; dressed in black and grey denim trousers, dark-grey tweed patched jacket, grey wiretwist shirt, size 3 or 5, with “ Acme ” brand on it, new tan hobnailed boots, size about 9, and oilskin overcoat (no braces, hat, or belt). Any information which would assist in establishing the identity of deceased is to be communicated to the Inspector of Police, Hamilton.
