Between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the above-mentioned date the complainant was indecently assaulted in Cornwall Park. No warrant.

Auckland. 29th ultimo, on warrant for theft of £1 10s. 2d., the property of Bernice Bathurst, baker, 64 Richmond Avenue, Roy Taylor, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 9 in., clerk and bread-roundsman, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, light-brown hair, grey eyes, moles on face ; speaks quickly ; sickly appearance, and he may be addicted to the use of drugs. Accused, who was employed to deliver bread, collected £1 10s. 2d. from William Charles Worth, and failed to account for it to his employer. There are other charges pending. At about 10.20 p.m. on the date mentioned, complainant was walking along Mount St. John Road, when she was assaulted. No warrant.

Tauranga. —On or about the 27th ultimo, on warrant for theft of a ladies’ brown handbag; an unemployment levy-book ; a post-office savings-bank book, No. 728, in name of Florence Lillian Ojala; and five £1 notes : total value, £5 6s. 6d., the property of Konsta Ojala, farmer, and Florence Lillian Ojala, Ray Morley, age about twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, slight build, fair complexion and hair, brown eyes, round shoulders, stooped, large sore on left wrist; dressed in brown trousers, grey sports coat, felt hat, tan shoes, and heavy double-breasted overcoat of woolly material. Accused was employed by complainant from the 15th to the 27th ultimo,, and after he left the property was missed.
