PROPERTY RECOVERED.

Auckland.— AßTHUß GLOUSTER PARSONS’S dwelling broken into : The stolen property, with the exception of the’ wristlet-watch, has been recovered and the offender, William George James Lucas, located by the Auckland police. Raymond Kerr is not now suspected of committing this offence. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 169.)

Waiuku. — HOME MORRISON’S snatchblocks stolen: One snatch-block and part of the timber-jack have been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 591.)

New Plymouth. NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT’S (Defence Department) rifle has been found, not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1934, page 495.)

Hastings. BETTY SHARP’S bicycle stolen : The frame, mudguards, and handle-bars have been recovered by the Clive police in a paddock. (See Police Gazette, 1935, page 198.)

Palmerston North. FREDERICK CHARLES COOMBE’S cheque-book has been recovered by the Auckland police, having been left at the Ambassadors Hotel on the 2nd instant by a man who stayed at the hotel under the name Alan Taylor. Christchurch.— GEORGE YAGER’S dwelling broken into : Walter Albert Speer has been arrested for the offence by the Christchurch police and portion of the stolen property recovered. (See Police, Gazette, 1935, page 4.)
