Since the Ist ultimo, Frederick Scott, age about twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 8 in., agent, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, light-brown hair, grey eyes, numerous scars on abdomen. He may be a patient in some public hospital. Inquiry IrvxMrs. R. Murphy, Queen Street, who fears for his safety. J/wsr
Gore. —Since the 27th ultimo, Hugh Halliday, age thirtytwo, height 5 ft. 9 in., gardener, native of Scotland, medium build, fresh tanned complexion, wavy fair hair, blue eyes, good teeth; wearing grey trousers, heather mixture sports coat, bowling shoes (no hat). A good side-drummer, fond of Scotch dancing, and bagpipe music. He left his lodgings early on the morning of the 27th. ultimo, and a shot-gun that he was in the habit of using is missing. Inquiry by his sister, Mrs. Orr, Balfour, who fears for his safety.
