OF NEW ZEALAND, a German nickel milk-jug, about 5 in. high and 3 in. in diameter, flag, “ T.S.N.C.” and “ Tasmanian Steam Navigation Coy.” engraved on side; and a square German nickel toast-rack, six divisions, engraved with flag and “ U.S.S. Identifiable except gramophone records, playing-cards, and cigars. Suspicion is attached to Joseph Reuben Clark, referred to in Police Gazette, 1934, page 662, and Photographs, 1933, page 52. Between the 6th and 7th December last, from the warehouse of JOHN AVERY, LTD., Currie Street, five boxes of Valet safety razor-blades, each box contained twenty packets with five blades in each packet ; value, £7. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Two Men (names unknown) —(1) Age about thirty, height 5 ft. 9 in., fair complexion ; wearing a white motoring coat. (2) age about thirty-three, height 5 ft. 8 in. ; walks with a limp.

Napier. —Between the sth and 7th October last the dwelling of HENRY NUTT ALL, police sergeant, was broken into and the following stolen : A ladies’ gold ring, set with two rubies and an opal, cross setting, opal in centre; a gentlemen’s Borsalino hat, size 6| ; a pair of gentlemen’s patent leather shoes, size 9, Russell make; a pair of gold sleeve-finks ; and a fancy whisky decanter : total value, £7.
