There are other charges pending, and a warrant has been issued at New Plymouth for his arrest for a similar offence. Accused obtained a dark-brown walnut sevenvalve Precision Atwater Kent radio-set (model No. 627, serial No. 1116678, beehive shape, table size), value £27 10s., from Robert B. Eowler, radio-dealer, T. and G. Buildings, Lambton Quay, by falsely representing herself to be Mrs. Brown, of 23 Riddiford Street, Wellington. She had a motor-car outside the shop, and was permitted to take the radio on trial. No warrant.
