PROPERTY STOLEN.

Auckland. Between the 30th January last and 2nd ultimo, the dwelling of ELEANOR MARTEN CERUTTY, 9 Gardner Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A gold band ring, set with three pearls with diamond at each end, one pearl missing ; a ladies’ oxidized silver ring, set . with a large opal; a gold flat bangle, about 1|- in., wide, with small diamond set in centre; a gold narrow band bangle, set with a pale-blue stone surrounded by about thirty small seed pearls ; an old brown suit-case; about six bottles of Ward’s beer; a door key, &c. : total value, £33. Jewellery and suit-case identifiable.

Auckland. —On the 3rd ultimo, the dwelling of MAURICE PRIESTLEY, 5 West bourne Road, Remuera, was broken into and the following stolen : A pair of opera-glasses in black leather case; a leather attache - case, size about 18 in., “ Priestley ” and “ Education Board, Auckland,” written on inside; a silver cigarette-case, with “ M.E.P.” on it; a Kodak folding-camera, with “ Priestley ” scratched on inside of cover; and a safety-razor : total value, £l2 18s. 6d. Identifiable.

Auckland. —17th January last, from the shop of KODAK LTD., Queen Street, a Weston Cine Exposure meter, No. 2774, model 627, about 1 1 in. in diameter and 1| in. thick, “ For Motion Picture Cameras ” on dial, black cover affixed to side which fits over meter, with 4 ft. tape attached ; value, £lO 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the 10th and 11th ultimo, the premises of the INVINCIBLE CASH AND CARRY STORES, LTD., Otahuhu, were broken into and the following stolen : Thirteen pairs of ladies’ silk hose ; a quantity of ladies’ and gentlemen’s clothing; an aluminium coffee-pot; two aluminium tea-pots; and two thermos flasks, &c . : total value, £25. Not identifiable.

Auckland. —Between the 4th and sth January last, the pavilion at the Stanley Street Tennis Courts was broken into and the following, the property of JAMES ALEXANDER THOMSON, caretaker, stolen : A pair of binoculars, made in Paris, Iris brand; and a blade-razor, Fisher brand, with white handle : total value, £5 10s. 6d. Identifiable.

Auckland. Between the 15th and 16th January last, the shop of GEORGE NAIRN, saddler, Abbott’s Building, Karangahape Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A Swan fountain-pen; and 7s. 6d. in money : total value, £1 2s. 6d. Identifiable except money.

Between the 15th and 16th January last, the shop of PHILIP COLLINSON, tailor, 85 Karangahape Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A blue worsted coat and vest with light-blue and brown stripes, size 4; a pair of trousers and vest, made of brown thornproof, size 4; and about twenty suit-lengths: total value, £39. Auckland. On the 14th ultimo, the dwelling of EILEEN LEE, 128 Dominion Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold wristlet-watch, with grey wristlet attached; and 10s. 6d. in money; total value, £5 ss. 6d. Identifiable except money.

Onehunga. — November and 27th January last, from 35 Tawa Road, the property of IDA GLADYS KIE RN AN, a gold muff-chain, with greenstone cross set with pearls; a petrified wood heart; a gold-mounted shark’s tooth, with “ Gertrude ” engraved on it; a gold ring, set with three Brazilian diamonds in claw setting ; and a small gold openface keyless watch : total value, £35. Identifiable.

Onehunga.— 3lst December last, from the dwelling of WATT PAI, Wallace Road, Mangere, a gentlemen’s gold hunting Waltham watch, “ E ” on back, glass broken, and minute-hand missing ; value, £7 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to George Reilly, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 2 in., labourer, native of England, medium build, fresh complexion, auburn hair, blue eyes, thin face; usually dressed in a grey suit and brown cap ; quick gait ; usually works in Chinese gardens. He was living with complainant when the offence was committed.

Waihi. —20th January last, from a motor-truck, the property of RICHARD LONG, farmer, Pukekawa, a -22 calibre Winchester repeating rifle, No. 517545, 1890 model ; .value £5. Identifiable.

Erankton Junction.— -On the 22nd January last, the wool-store of WILSON, CANHAM, AND CO. was broken into and the following stolen : A small iron Milner safe, with “ Wilson Browne and Son” on brass plate on front, containing 10s. and sundry papers : total value, £l3. Safe and papers identifiable.

Suspicion is attached to Margaret Kroon, alias Nancy Kroon, alias lona Scott, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 6 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, medium build, curly dark hair, green-grey eyes ; usually wears bandage on one ankle ; round face ; slouching gait ; keeps hands in coat pockets ; all teeth recently extracted ; invariably wears a white knitted beret, and she may be wearing some of the stolen property mentioned above.
