Freeman’s Bay. —During December last, from a launch the property of MARK BOWLES, 15 Vermont Street, Pon sonby, a brass eight-day clock, about 3 in. in diameter; value, £4. Identifiable.

with small ruby eyes; a gold tie-pin, with small gold scent-bottle attached; a greenstone bracelet linked with gold; a fine silver chain necklace, with fourteen moonstones set in silver attached ; a pearl bead necklace; a gold-mounted oval pendant, with yellow cairngorm attached , a set of gold sleeve-links, with “ A.A.G.” and “ 1907-1928 ” thereon; a watch-guard, “ H.T.G.” in monogram on it, with Auckland Exhibition gold tiki suspended; a silver cigarette-case, “ A.A.G.” and “ 1907-1928 ” thereon; a travelling-clock, in grey leather case, square shape, gold case, round luminous dial; a small clock in metal stand, round luminous dial; a ladies’ gold ring, with large cairngorm in claw setting ; a ladies’ thin gold ring, leaf design, with small circle of pearls set round small ruby in cluster ; a ladies’ gold ring, with greenstone tiki in claw setting ; a ladies’ platinum ring, with one large pearl in claw setting ; a ladies’ gold ring, with five diamonds in cluster in claw setting; a leather suit-case of light-brown colour, about 28 in. by 16 in. by 7 in., “ H.T.G.” on top in black letters; a a brown suit, double pleats in front of trousers, tape and leather sewn on bottom of trousers on inside ; six shirts, one light-blue and white striped silk, one blue and white striped cotton, two with brown and blue narrow stripes on light-grey background, one dark-grey with narrow white and brown stripes, and one with various coloured stripes, all size 14|-in. collar-band; ties; pyjamas; and shoes: total value, £B4. Auckland. —On the 14th ultimo, the dwelling of ANNIE LOUISE TURNER, 55 Edenvale Road, was broken into and the following stolen: A dark-grey tweed suit, with extra pair of trousers; a ladies’ grey two-piece costume; an electroplated jewel-case, lined with wood, Sydney Harbour Bridge engraved on lid ; about six strings of assorted beads ; a ladies’ oval black ebony mirror; a child’s manicure-set; a pair of ladies’ lace-up shoes ; 1| yd. blue serge, &c.: total value, £l7. Portion identifiable.

Auckland. 24th ultimo, the property of JAMES EDWARD MARTIN, 166 Karangahape Road, a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold half-hunting Elgin or Royal watch ; and a 15 ct. gold curb watch-chain, with long greenstone pendant attached : total value, £lO. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to James Robert Dawson, who has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Gisborne. — the years 1930 and 1933, the property of JULIUS DUNLOP DONNER, farmer, a -45 calibre automatic pistol, No. C. 33513.

Taihape. — the 25th December last and the 22nd ultimo, from the office of HENRY HAROLD HARRIS, farmer, Koeke, seven gold medals of various designs, “ H.” or “ H. H. Christchurch. 29th December last, from Oxford Terrace, the property of RONALD lAN SNEDDON, 467 Papanui Road, a 1923-24 model five-seater Ford tourer motor-car, red with black bonnet, white wheels, engine No. 477963, registration No. 31-397, spare tire on rear; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Leeston. —Between the 21st December, 1933, and the 2nd instant, the dwelling of ROBERT BRUCE, school-teacher, Killinchy, was broken into and the following stolen : a darkgrey clerical tweed suit, “ Beath and Co.” on tag ; a fawn suede tobacco-pouch, with silver shield on it; a 45. -piece, dated 1897; and a fawn gabardine Burberry raincoat: total value, £9. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about forty-five, height about 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, slight build, fresh complexion, fair hair ; dressed in light check suit, light soft felt hat with black band, blue tie with white spots, and black boots.
