Amending General Regulations under Part It of the Fisheries Act, 1908. (See New Zealand Gazette, 1934, page 44.) BLEDISLOE, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL. At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 10th day of January, 1934. Present: The Right Hon. G. W. Forbes presiding in Council. WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-third day Of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, at page 2685, general regulations for fishing were made under the Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884; and whereas that Act has been repealed, and the provisions therein contained have been re-enacted under Part II of the Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “ the said Act ”) : And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations in the manner hereinafter described : Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations of the twenty-third day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seven, in the manner set out in the Schedule hereto ; and doth hereby order and declare that these regulations shall come into force on the date of publication thereof in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE. Regulation 17 of the hereinbefore-recited regulations is hereby revoked and the following clause substituted in lieu thereof: — regulations shall not be less than ten pounds nor more than fifty pounds, and for the breach of any other of these regulations shall not be less than two pounds nor more than fifty pounds.” C.
