Between the 7th and 14th ultimo, from the armoury at the Boys’ High School, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Defence Department), two •22 calibre Vickers match rifles, Nos. 2060 and 2062 respectively : total value, £7 ss. Identifiable. -^Te Auckland. —22nd ultimo, from a dressing-shed at Victoria Park, Freeman’s Bay, the property of REGINALD CAMDEN HENRY, 66 Great South Road, a gentlemen’s double-cased Waltham watch, “ R.C.H.” in monogram in front of case, “ To Reg from Ma and Mother’s Day ” engraved on inside of back case ; a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold curb watch-chain ; and a silver sovereign-case, containing three sovereigns: total value, £lB 15s. Identifiable except sovereigns.

Auckland.— On the Bth ultimo, the dwelling of EDITH HAYWOOD, 37 Remuera Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A stole skunk fur, black with brown tint, about 7 ft. long by 18 in. wide, lined with brown material, one clasp broken ; seven pairs of ladies’ shoes; a large black crepe de Chine shawl, painting in centre, 12 in. fringe ; eight pairs of silk stockings; three pink crepe de Chine nightdresses ; a gentlemen’s fawn suede golf-coat, with blue collar; a silver-and-blue enamel pendant, shield shape, large pearl drop attached, and fine silver chain ; and a leather suit-case, size about 26 in. long : total value, £24. Identifiable except stockings.

Auckland. On the 30th October last, the dwelling of WILLIAM THOMAS BELL, 16 Dromorne Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A fine platinum neck-chain, with large greenstone pendant, with white enamel around it and two green drops hanging to it; a two-bar gold brooch, set with a green heart-shaped stone; a small gold heart, with pearls in centre ;* a Maori greenstone heart, large size, with hole through centre and ring at top for fastening to chain ; a brooch made from a four-shilling piece, pin broken ; a redleather covered travelling - clock, luminous dial, “ McClurg, Napier,” on front; an ivory edelweiss brooch ; and several strings of beads : total value, £ls 14s. Identifiable.

Huntly. —Between the 30th September and 25th October last, from the premises of CHARLES STARR, furniture-dealer, Main Street, twenty-four gramophone records; a pair of gum-boots ; a ratchet brace ; a pair of pince-nez in case ; a brown leather handbag, size 20 in. by 6 in.; a three-quarter plate .camera ; a five-chambered revolver, made by “ Oyez Leige Arms, Belgium ” ; an electric radiator; an electric oven, 20 in. high ; and 35 ft. of electric cable : total value, £9 18s. Identifiable.

Levin. Between the 12th and 13th ultimo, the shop of JAMES WILLIAM RIMMER, grocer, Oxford Street, was broken into and the following stolen : a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco, assorted brands ; a quantity of Zig Zag cigarettepapers ; and £3 19s. Id. in money : total value, £lB 19s. lOd. Not identifiable.

Eketahuna.— the 3rd and sth instant, the premises of KEITH DAVIS MARENZI, Main Street, were broken into and a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco of assorted brands stolen : total value, £33 Bs. Not identifiable.

Otaki. —Between the 10th and 13th ultimo, from the dwelling of GEOFFREY McOHESNEY, a gentlemen’s darkbrown Le Roy oilskin overcoat, row of clasps in front, small tear (which has been sewn) at right bottom corner; value £2 15s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Frederick Schlutcr, alias Sluter, alias Wells, alias Fogden, referred to in Police Gazette, 1932, page 716, and/ Photographs, page 34.

Wellington.— Between the 26th and 28th ultimo, the shop of JACK EUSTACE, 72 Molesworth Street, was broken into and the following stolen: A quantity of cigarettes and tobacco, assorted brands; three blade-razors ; a quantity of matches; and 6s. 7d. in money : total value, £SO. Not identifiable.

Christchurch. On the 4th October last, the dwelling of NELLIE HEWINSON, 172 Linwood Avenue, was broken into and the following stolen : A ladies’ gold wristlet-watch, No. 152418 ; a gold ring, set with about eight diamonds in cluster ; a gold ring, set with three white sapphires ; a 9 ct. gold pendant, set with pearls and turquoise ; a greenstone brooch, with small gold dumb-bell attached; and a gold cameo brooch: total value, £29 15s. Identifiable.

Christchurch. Between the 20th and 21st October last, the dwelling of LAWRENCE ALEXANDER DOW, 55 Osborne Street, was broken into and the following stolen : A gold curb-chain; a Nellie Stewart gold bangle ; a ladies’ gold dress ring, had been set with a single stone in claw setting which is now missing; a plain gold band ring, with “ M.C.” inscribed on it; and a V.P.K. camera in leather case, “ W. Dow ” and a regimental number scratched on camera : total value, £l6 10s. Identifiable.

Between the sth and 7th ultimo, the premises of HENRY HALLIDAY, City Dye Works, 137 George Street, were broken into and the following stolen : 24| yd. of crepe de Chine, dyed black (original colour green); 23-|- yd. of crepe de Chine, dyed royal blue ; 31 yd. of charmelaine, dyed navy (original colour fawn); 7 yd. silk, dyed brown or black ; 51 yd. of silk crepe ; 22-|- yd. of apple-green silk ; 4§ yd. of silk and wool crepe ; 19 J yd. of light-blue celanese silk ; 3 yd. of pink worsted ; 5$ yd. of saxe repp; and 34 yd. of rose charmelaine : total value, £BO.
