Warkworth. Between the 15th and 16th ultimo, the shop of HERBERT STUBBS, Butcher, Main Street, was broken into and the following stolen : A gentlemen’s silver doublecase hunting keyless Swiss watch ; value, £1 10s. Identifiable.
Wellseord. —14th May last, from a loader in the Railwayyards, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Public Works Department), a magneto, No. 37956, type 4 ; value, £l6. Identifiable.
Auckland. Between the 9th and 10th June last, from the workshop of RUDGE ELECTRICAL CO., Wandsworth Building, Anzac Avenue, a Philco Baby Grand nine-valve radio-set, chassis No. 114677 ; value, £32 10s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Romney Donaldson Godden. He has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.
Auckland. —l7th ultimo, from Eden Terrace, the property of ALLAN IVAN STOKES, Cleveland Road, Papakura, a 1931 model New Hudson motor-cycle, with side wind-shields, registration No. 14-962, engine No. ,139, chassis No. 19-196 ; value, £BS. Identifiable. / 'O' A // y

Otoroiianga. —On the 25th ultimo, a hut, the property of THOMAS McIVOR, Kiokio, was broken into and the following stolen : A gentlemen’s rolled-gold Elgin watch, with “ T. Between Ist and 16th June last, from 3 Sandilands Street, the property of RUBY FRANCES HANDRICK, a gold brooch, set with a dark-green Queensland sapphire in claw setting; a gold two-bar brooch, set with three stones, with fine gold chain attached ; a gold star-brooch, set with pearls; a ladies’ gold ring, set with a fire-coloured opal; a ladies’ gold ring, set with dark-green Queensland sapphires ; a ladies’ gold ring, set with an aquamarine; a ladies’ gold ring, set with three rubies ; and top of a Waterman fountain-pen with gold band : total value, £lB 10s. Identifiable.
Levin. Between the 12th and 13th ultimo, from a garage, the property of EDMUND MULCAHY, Foxton Road, a gentlemen’s double-breasted light-brown leather overcoat, belt-loops missing; a motor-driver’s license, No 551, issued by the Horowhenua County Council, Levin: a Catholic prayer-book, may have “ Dolly ” or “ Miss Quinn ” on front page; and five gallons of benzine: total value, £5 15s. Identifiable except benzine.
Wellington. Between the 17th and 18th June last, from 43 Epuni Street, the property of JOHN RETTER, three saws ; two claw-hammers ; twelve chisels ; two large pianes ; a jack-plane; a smoothing-plane ; two folding-rules ; three small bevelling-planes, &c. (ail the tools are branded “ J.R.”): total value, £2O. Identifiable.
Wellington. —On the 12th ultimo, the dwelling of CAROLINE EMILY ROWE, 110 Cecil Road, was broken into and the following stolen : An art Chinese ring, set with a large amethyst in filigree setting ; a gold or platinum ring, set with a cluster of diamonds in circle ; a gold ring, set with a diamond surrounded by turquoises ; a plain white gold ring, set with a large aquamarine in claw setting; a gold ring, set with a pearl and yellow stone ; a gold ring, set with three opals and two diamonds ; a silver ring, set with an amethyst; a silver bar brooch, set with an amethyst; an old-gold brooch, set' with six rubies ; and £3 7s. 6d. in money : total value, £52 17s. 6d. Identifiable except money.
