PROPERTY STOLEN.

Whangarei. Between the 24th and 31st October last, from the Harbour Board Building, the property of LINDSAY FEATHERSTONE FRASER, farmer, Hora Hora, a leather suit-case, size 2 ft. 6 in. by 1 ft. 5 in. by 9 in., with “ L.F.F.” in gold block letters on side, containing clothing which is probably branded “ L.F.F.” : total value, £2O. Identifiable.

Rotorua. —15th instant, the property of PRENTICE ARTHUR KUSABS, a Baby Triumph brown sedan motorcar, with black wheels and mudguards, registration No. 41-487, ■engine No. 16548, chassis No. 16743, two doors, Dunlop balloon tires, spare wheel on rear; value, £200., Identifiable. --/UjZuvtAXJOb bji/i >- Moturoa. —On the 23rd ultimo, a cottage at Paritutu Beach, New Plymouth, the property of LOUIS ERNEST HOFFMANN, was broken into and the following stolen : A pair of large field-glasses ; a two-cell nickel torch ; and a pair of white sand-shoes, size 6: total value, £5 10s. 6d. Fieldglasses and torch only identifiable.

Ekf.tahuna. —On the 13th instant, the shop of PERCIVAL ROY DONEY, draper, was broken into and the following stolen : A pair of gentlemen’s patent-leather shoes, size 6, branded “ The Patriata Shoe ” ; a pair of gentlemen’s patentleather shoes, size 8, Standard brand ; a single-breasted navy-, blue serge coat, size 5, Standard on neck ; a pair of Sincerity' fawn-striped worsted sports trousers, size 5 ; four pairs of art silk socks ; a ladies’ cream fuji silk frock ; a pair of cream gabardine trousers ; two gentlemen’s Roslyn swimming-suits, navy-blue with coloured stripes ; a Stetson hat ; six gentlemen’s Borsalino hats, size 7, in fawn shades ; two pairs of gentlemen’s tennis-shoes, Comet brand, size 7 ; and £4 in silver: total value, £27. Identifiable. The offender left behind in the shop a 2 ft. jemmy, and a U in. chisel branded “ WP - Cast Steel fcgn

Wellington. —7th October last, from 68 Abel Smith Street, the property of MARY WICKSTEAD, a ladies’ white felt hat, -with small bow at back; a ladies’ black serge overcoat, with white piping round collar, lapels, and sleeves, full belt with steel buckle, no buttons, made by Worths, Wellington ; and a leather attache - case, size 18 in. by 12 in.,, with “ Leatherlight ” stamped on it: total value, £3 ss. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Sybil Chapman, age eighteen, height 5 ft. 4 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, slight build, mole on right side of nose ; wearing a fawn overcoat, with white or blue belt, red knitted jumper, blue skirt, lightcoloured stockings, brown and whit echoes. //./■* „ MpxobUsv' -CC&LLfl£c/ *>/// * >■ Wellington. Between the 12th and 14th ultimo, a magazine at Moa Point, the property of the WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL, was broken into and fifteen plugs of gelignite and five plugs of eruptite stolen : total value, 4s. 6d. Not identifiable.

Pioton. —7th ultimo, from the s.s. “ Tamahine,” the property of MARTIN BLAMPIED, traveller, care of L. T. Nathan and Co., Wellington, three safety razors, made by Wilkinson Sword Co., each in a small oak case ; six silvermounted pipes, “ Club London Made ” ; two sets of carvers, made by W. Humphreys, Sheffield, England, in brown leatherette cases ; and six shaving-brushes, with “ Pure Hog Bristle ” stamped on handle : total value, £6 18s. Identifiable.

Nelson. — Fred Harvey, suspected of theft: It has been ascertained by the Nelson police that he' is identical with Frederick Henry Harvey, referred to in Police Gazette, 1931, page 372. (See Police Gazette 1931, page 498.)

Dunedin.- —11th instant, from 62a Royal Terrace, the property of ESTHER MOSS, a ladies’ 15 ct. or 18 ct. gold ring, circular rose setting, set with a large yellow-tinged diamond in centre and surrounded by eight small diamonds ; value, £45. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Queenie Florence Unice Astle, age twenty-five, height 5 ft. 2 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, light-brown hair, grey cyu4.
