Whangarei.— John Lowther, default of costs, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (Sec Police Gazette, 1929, page 211.)

Auckland.— James McKay, escapee from Mental Hospital, has been arrested by the Timaru police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 351.)

Auckland. John Francis Burns, rogue and vagabond, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 369.)

Auckland.— Scales, default of maintenance, has paid the amount to the Ohura police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 369.)

Auckland. — Allan Sydney Adams, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Newton police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 327.) "

Auckland. — Hilda Wainui, alias Jackson, alias Beatrice Walton, breach of the Licensing Act, has been served with the summons by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 351.)

Auckland. James McCoy, breach of the Licensing Act, has been served with the summons by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 351.)

Auckland. — F. 0. Cellist, ship-desertion, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. His correct name is Frank Onward Nellist. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 243.)

Auckland. Charles Robin soft, default of fines and costs, has paid the amount to the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 622.)

Auckland.— Lennox McMillan Gordon Barr, alias L. G. Barr, false pretences, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. He assumed the name Jack McMillan. (See Police Gazette, 1930, pages 257 and 353.)

Mount Eden South. — Mary Lillian Ebitt Maude, missing, has been found dead. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 631.)

Tauranga. — William Patrick Brophy, obtaining credit by fraud, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 228.)

Rotorua. — Peard, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Ruatoria police. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 446.)

Wairoa. Joseph Henry Cooper, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Wairoa police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 297.)

Dannevirke. Wilfred Lowe, false pretences, has been arrested by the Rotorua police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 282.)

Bulls. — William Eric Cooper, false pretences, has been arrested by the Taradale police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 311.)

Palmerston North. William Henry Wood, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Wairoa and Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 282.)

Petone. John Cavell, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Gonville police. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 328.)

Wellington. — Lenmox McMillan Gordon Barr, breach of probation, has been arrested by the Rotorua police on another charge. (See Police Gazette, 1924, page 348.)

Wellington. — J. Doyle, alias Hugh Johnston, alias Stuart McMillan, alias McFarlane, forgery, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 864.)

Auckland and Mount Cook. John James Brennans alias James Storrie, alias Brownlee, failing to maintain, has been interviewed by the Masterton police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 816, and 1929, page 812.)

Dunedin. —New Zealand Fur Co., Ltd., premises broken into : Thomas William Wilson, alias Henry, has been arrested for this and other offences by the Dunedin police. None of the stolen property in this case has been recovered. (See Police Gazette, 1931, page 29.)

Dunedin. — Robert Britain Fraser, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Lyttelton police. He assumed the name Duke Niven. (See Police Gazette, 1930, page 339.)
