MISSING.
Whangarei. Since the 22nd ultimo, William Baviard Brabazon, age forty-seven, height 5 ft. 11 in., manager, native of England, slight build, brown hair, clean - shaved, thin features ; dressed in pink silk pyjamas with light-blue stripes, and wore a large signet-ring on one finger. He was a passenger on the s.s. “ Claymore ” from Auckland to Whangarei, and was last seen about 11 p.m. It is supposed that he was drowned.
Taihape. —Since about the 25th . December last, Edward Simmonds, age eighty, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, medium build, hair turning grey, short grey beard; usually dressed in a dark tweed suit and felt hat; deaf, and suffers from loss of memory. Fears are entertained for his safety. /-
