Avondale. —18th instant, the property of HARRY GORDON PARKER, Thomas Street, a cheque for 195., drawn on,,the Union Bank of Australia, Ltd., Auckland, No. 16398, in favour of 11. Parker, dated. 12/1/31 ; and £1 10s. 3d, in money. Cheque only identifiable.

Between the 15th and 16th ultimo the premises of the ALASKA FUR DEPOT, 103 Willis Street, were broken into and the following stolen : A ladies’ doveshade natural rabbit-skin fur coat, banded style, lined with grey brocaded art silk with sea-green floral design, three fur buttons and brown elastic loops in front, crush collar gathered to long lapels ; value, £22. Identifiable.

Matauea. —Between the 15th and 17th November last, from outside the shop of HILDA GERTRUDE WALSH, Bridge Street, a penny slot machine, size about 20 in. by 4 in., containing P.K. chewing-gum ; value, £5 12s. Id. Not identifiable.
