An Auckland Post Office Savings-bank book (No. 475025, showing credit of £45), the property of George Ogles, labourer,. 10 Spring Street, Onehunga, was stolen from his coat-pocket. A withdrawal receipt for £2O was subsequently forged and that amount obtained from the Post Office. Beare, who was staying with complainant, had the opportunity to steal the pass-book, and lie is to be interviewed regarding the offences. No warrant. ,
