Mount Albert.— 2oth ultimo, the property of JOSIAH PHELHEAN, 5 Douglas Avenue, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel Ivanhoe bicycle, No. 74840, upturned handles, rubber pedals, carrier on back; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Queen’s Wharf (Auckland). — Between the 14th and 15th ultimo, the property of RICHARD GOLDSBERRY, 40 Fourth Avenue, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Ruby Special bicycle, straight handles, no grips, rat-trap pedals ; value, £4. Identifiable.

Auckland.— Between the 23rd and 25th November last, the property of REGINALD SOMERVILLE, 20 Woodford Road, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled bicycle, No. 1322, rubber worn off left pedal, tires branded “ Vickery, Hamilton ” ; value, £6 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. STANDISH BAYLY, 49 Onslow Road, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel Argyle bicycle, No. 98249, upturned handles, Barnet Glass tire on front wheel and Dunlop tire on back ; value, £3 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. ASHTON WRIGHT, 10 Princess Street, a gentlemen’s gold hunting keyless watch, “ H.A.W.” in monogram on case, bezel, glass, and second-hand missing; value, £2O. Identifiable.

Rotorua. Bth instant, the property of MADELINE VAUGHAN, Tutanekai Street, a ladies’ open - face gold wristlet watch, No. C. 110583, “ Carva ” printed on dial, black leather wrist-band; value, £6 12s. 6d. Identifiable.

Napier. — the 28th October and Ist November last, the property of DALGETY AND CO., a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Argyle bicycle, upturned handles, rat-trap pedals ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Hastings. —7th ultimo, from the Wellington-Napier mail train, the property of JOHN COWAN, 302 Knight Street, a brown fibre suit-case containing a brown woollen rug, a navyblue suit, a light-blue white-trimmed blazer with “ N.8.H.5.” in monogram thereon, a pair of brownish-grey tennis trousers, a pair of tweed trousers, a white silk tennis shirt, four striped cotton shirts, a pair of white tennis-shoes, a light-blue cap with crest of Napier Boys’ High School thereon, a book with “ Mary Rose, Wellington Training College,” stamped thereon, and a small black wallet with “J. Cowan ” thereon ; total value, £2O. Identifiable.

Palmerston North. 29th ultimo, from All Saints Church, the property of JAMES PENKETH, 1 Thompson Street, a ladies’ old-fashioned open-face gold watch, Roman numerals, “ Manufactured by Bailey of London ” on cap of works, slight dent in top ; value, £ls. Identifiable.

• Wellington. — lsth instant, from the guard’s van between Johnsonville and Wellington, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railways Department), a brown leather cash-bag, 9 in. long, locked with brass padlock, “ Paekakariki ” printed on bag: containing two £5 notes, eleven £1 notes, eighteen 10s. notes, £l4 14s. 3d. in silver, and Id. ; total value, £44 14s. 4d. Cash-bag only identifiable.

Wellington. Between the 18th and 20th instant the premises of GEORGE AND GEORGE, drapers, 117 Riddiford Street, were broken into and the following stolen : Sixty pairs of fancy silk half-hose (Phoenix brand), six pairs of Rollins fancy artificial silk half-hose, eighteen pairs of Rollins fancy half-hose, twenty-four fancy silk small handkerchiefs, six silk handkerchiefs, thirty linen handkerchiefs, six plain white silk handkerchiefs, six gentlemen’s ties, twelve gentlemen’s tics, five gentlemen’s semi-stiff collars, eighteen Pyramid coloured bordered handkerchiefs, four pairs gentlemen’s Livelastic and Moran garters, eighteen pairs artificial silk and wool assorted half-hose, and four gentlemen’s coloured shirts, two Summit and two Abelco brand. Wellington. —Between the 9th and 10th ultimo, on the s.s. “ Mataroa,” the property of CECELIA MARY DUNCAN, Heretaunga, a yellow topaz necklet; a diamond bar brooch, about 2 in. long, with thirteen diamonds set in platinum; a diamond; a diamond arrow brooch; an Irish Guards Regimental badge in rose diamonds and enamel; a flexible brilliants bracelet of square stones set in silver; a pair of gold earrings ; a pair of paste earrings with three imitation diamond drops; a small round green silk-cover box, about 2 in. in diameter, with gold braid round side: total value, £7B. Wellington. Between 14th and 19th November last, from 33 Thorndon Quay, the property of JAMES LEDDY, 114 Aro Street, a tiger - skin rug, lined with dark hairy material; value, £ls. Identifiable.

Wellington. — l2th ultimo, the property of CYRIL RAYMOND AINSWORTH, 67 Herald Street, a gentlemen’s gold wristlet watch, “ From Douglas Wadloy to Father Ainsworth, 1927,” inscribed on back of case, may have “ Hardy and Son, Brisbane,” on it; value, £8 Bs. Identifiable.

Wellington. Between the 17th and 18th instant the shop of LIONEL THOMAS HENRY BRAMLEY, Main Road, Khandallah, was broken into and a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco was stolen therefrom; total value, £2O. Not identifiable.

Christchurch. — 15th instant, from Hereford Street, the property of WILLIAM MACFARLANE, Ohoka, North Canterbury, a five-seator sports model Jewett motor-car, registered No. 114-623, engine No. 47901, chassis No. 48423, painted brown, black hood, Goodyear Heavy Duty tires, two spare tires (one Goodyear and the other Dominion) on side, large steel trunk bolted on rear containing fishing-tackle and overalls, tool-box on running-board; total value,*£3o3 15s. Christchurch. On 20th ultimo the office of HATHERLEY BROS., 58 Salisbury Street, was broken into and the following stolen : Six £lO notes, five £5 notes, one hundred and fifty-nine £1 notes, sixteen 10s. notes, and £8 17s. sd. in silver and coppers : total amount, £260 17s. sd.

Dunedin. HOBBS, 9 Victoria Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Kiwi bicycle, No. 65030, upturned handles, black rubber grips, rubber pedals, a light-brown leather handbag with “ Arthur Hobbs ” written inside attached to handles of bicycle ; total value, £9 15s. Identifiable.

Dunedin. —Between the 24th and 30th ultimo, from the Railway-station, the property of WILLIAM MOSS SUTHERLAND, 44 Wilkie Road, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Kiwi bicycle, No. 5547, reversible handles, black rubber grips, John Bull tires, rubber pedals ; value, £l3 10s. Identifiable.

Dunedin. EVAN PLANK, Caledonian Grounds Hotel, a gentlemen’s black - enamelled B.S.A. bicycle, No. 8.52464, reversible handles, Michelin tires, Bosch electric lamp, painted black with scratch across top, attached ; total value, £l2. Identifiable. v
