Auckland. Between the Ist June last and the 31st July, from the dwelling of ALMA GWENDOLINE MANSELL, 9 Maybeck Road, Mount Albert, a gentlemen’s rolled-gold hunting-watch, black hands ; a gold-mounted sovereign pendant ; and £1 10s. in money : total value, £6. Not identifiable.

Between the 13th and 16th September last, from a building in Symonds Street, the property of AUSTIN CULLEN, 72 Grafton Road, a Moulson rip-saw, a Disston panel an Aitken saw, a Bavley smoothing-plane, a jackplane, a throating-plane, a Stanley wooden level, four woodchisels, two pairs compasses, a brace and set of bits in green, felt roll, a Stanley mitre-kit, and a Cheney claw-hammer, &c., all branded “ A.C.” or “A. Cullen ” ; total value, £2O. Identifiable.
Auckland. —sth ultimo, from the shop-door of BRADSTREETS LIMITED, Karangahape Road, twelve gentlemen’s black Italian cloth shirts with collars attached, some have fivepointed star on back of neck ; value, £2 19s. Identifiable.
Thames. JACK CRAWFORD’S bicycle stolen: The bicycle has a 24 in. frame, No. 8.9736, with Brooks 8.90 saddle. (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 641.)

Gisborne. —On the 27th or 28th ultimo the Garrison Hall was broken into and the following stolen, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Defence Department) : Three -45 Webley revolvers, Nos. 491, 279, and 53, all branded “ N.Z.,” with broad arrow and date; five hundred rounds -45 Mark II revolver cartridges ; five thousand rounds -22 cartridges ; twelve Irwin patent auger-bits; three bevelled-edge chisels ; and an armourer’s leather bag with shoulder-straps, containing a small spring balance, screwdriver, snips, and wire-cutters : total value,, £3l, Revolvers identifiable. $ 1//i/$0

Petone. 9th ultimo, from a motor-car in Beach Street, the property of Dr. ROGER BAKEWELL, 50 Nelson Street, an electric headlight comprising a nickel-plated electric torch with pair of black-rimmed spectacles (without lenses), and spotlight attached with 3 ft. of double flex ; three silver earspeculums ; a pair of stainless-steel ear-forceps ; two rubber sheets, size 4 ft. by 3 ft. ; and a white shirt, marked “ P. 227 ” : total value, £5. Lincoln. — On the Ist or 2nd September last the dwelling of CHARLES NEWELL, Ellesmere, was broken into and the following stolen: An H.M.V. portable gramophone, No. 52297 ; about forty gramophone records ; a gentlemen’s brown suit, “ Hobbs ” marked on inside coat-pocket; a pair of gentlemen’s brown boots, made by Pannell; and several sheets, tins of fruit, &c. : total, value, £36. Pleasant Point. —Between the 21st and 23rd September last the hut of GEORGE LOOKER, Cave, was broken into and a pair of field-glasses with black case branded “ Night and Day,” and a brown leather brief-bag with “ G.L.” on one side, stolen ; total value, £3 12s. 6d. Identifiable.
Dunedin. — 12th September last, the property of JONATHAN JOHNSON PAUL, 5 Pentland Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Earl bicycle, No. 2187, upturned handles, no grips, rat-trap pedals, Bates tire on back wheel : value, £6. Identifiable. cC / /

Dunedin. Between the 7th and 9th September last, the property of JOHN MUTCH, Janefield, Mosgiel, a boy’s blackenamelled free-wheel Speedwell bicycle, No. 3620, square handles, one black celluloid grip, rubber pedals, piece of right pedal missing ; value, £5. Identifiable.

f Invercargill. —3rd August last, from a motor-car which was unlawfully used and abandoned, the property of Dr. BURNS WATSON, Don Street, a sphygmomamometer in black leather case 6 in. by 5 in., “ Trycos ” on dial, dial registers 240 millimeters ; and two rubber bulbs in a rubber bag with grey cloth covering : total value, £5.
