Kingsland. —Between the 3rd May, 1921, and the Ist July last, the property of DAVIDSON STOUPE, 13 Altham Avenue, a 7-65 mm. German automatic pistol, No. 40944, Carl Walther, maker ; value, £2 ; Identifiable.

Auckland. McGREGOR, 34 Parnell Road, a gentlemen’s Superb bicycle, No. 7447, black-enamelled with green and gold fines, 22 in. frame, Dominion tires ; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Auckland. Between the Ist July last and the Ist August, from the dwelling of LOUISA BARBER DICKESON, 66 Owens Road, Epsom, a camera, field-glasses, spoons, &e. (recovered); a large oval cameo brooch with gold back and edges, “ Bolger ” and dates on back ; and a large oval gold brooch set with an onyx, “ Bolger ” or “ Grimes ” and dates on back: total value, £sl. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Harold Attwood (name probably fictitious), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 8 in., medium build ; wearing a brown suit and dark felt hat: And Henry Cameron (name probably fictitious), age about thirty-two, height about 5 ft. 5 in., strong build ; wearing dark clothes. The descriptions are those of two men who sold portion of the property to a second-hand dealer. Portion of the property was also found in possession of Everard Storrs Braithwaite, who has been arrested.

Auckland. —On the 14th ultimo the shop of CHARLES SANDERS, 102 Ponsonby Road, was broken into and the following stolen : A leather suit-case about 2 ft. in length, green lining; a gentlemen’s blue serge suit with doublebreasted coat; a pair of trousers and vest, brown with blue stripes; and a mandolin - guitar, made by the National Academy of Music : total value, £l3 7s. 6d. Titan—Between the 21st July last and the 9th August, the property of ALBERT DOBSON, Dominion Road, a pair of prismatic binoculars with leather covering, made in France, may have “ Oigee ” stamped thereon, right eye-piece adjustable ; value, £ls. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to M. Bremen, age forty-seven, height 5 ft. 2 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, grey hair dyed black, brown eyes. She has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Putaruku. On the 19th or 20th ultimo the store of ROSE AMELIA JAMIESON, Te Whetu, was broken into and the following stolen : Four pairs gentlemen’s grey tweed trousers, size 6 ; three pairs gentlemen’s Palmer nap trousers, sizes 3or 6; four pairs boy’s grey and brown tweed trousers ; several pairs gentlemen’s socks, singlets, ladies’ vests, &c.; and a quantity of tobacco, cigarettes, and groceries : total value, £2O 15s. lid. Identification doubtful.

Gisborne. — the 20th July last and the 3rd August, from the dwelling of HURU SWAN, Steel Road, Kaiti, a portable H.M.V. gramophone, No. 106330, in black case; value, £ll 11s. Identifiable.

Gisborne. —21st or 22nd ultimo, from a motor-car at'the Albion Hotel, the property of NOBLE DE GAMP, Woolston Tanneries, Christchurch, a brown leather suit-case, about 28 in. in length, “ W.T.” embossed on lid; a radiator meter with two handles, small ball on each end of handles ; and about thirty-five pairs ladies’ and gentlemen’s leather nappa, suede, fur-topped or gauntlet gloves, some have “ Perfectan ” on buttons : total value* £3O 10s. Moera. —Between the 3rd and 18th August last the dwelling of HAROLD SYDNEY COE, 24 Mason Street, was broken into and the following stolen : a gentlemen’s nickel open-face Railway watch, screw back; a double 18 ct. gold cable watch-chain with gold medal attached inscribed “ Presented to H. S. Coe by Waterside Workers, 1917 ” ; and £1 in money : total value, £l7 15s. Identifiable except money.
