Queen’s Wharf (Auckland). —On or about the 15th June last, the property of ARTHUR JOHN AYERS, 247 Eden Terrace, a gentlemen’s red-enamelled free-wheel Monarch Special bicycle, upturned handles, no grips, rat-trap pedals ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Auckland. l7th June last, the property of WILLIAM TONG, Newmarket, a gentlemen’s silver keyless wrist-watch, hexagon shape, luminous dial, English figures, black leather strap attached ; value, £2 7s. 6d. Identifiable.

Between the 13th and 15th ultimo, from the Crystal Palace Theatre, the property of JOSEPH PATRICK MOODABE, the machinery of a Columbia Panatrope, Model 902, comprising a three-stage electric amplifier using two each of No. 227 and No. 250 Cunningham valves and two No. 281 half-wave Cunningham rectifiers; a Federal Brandes 300-volt dynamic speaker; and a step-down electrical transformer made by Federal Brandes, with electric motor with gold mounting board and gilt-edged turntable : value, £l4O. Identifiable.

Mount Eden.— 2Bth or 29th June last, the property of ARTHUR SCOTT WALTON, Public Hospital, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, No. H.A. 2469, upturned handles, black celluloid grips, 24in. frame, “Clark’s Cycle Works, Newmarket,” stamped on front, dent in cross-bar; value, £5. Identifiable.

Merger.- 25th February last, from the dwelling of MERVYN ROBERT BROWN, Kaiaua, a pair of gentlemen’s light-grey-check tweed trousers (size 4), a pair of blue striped braces, and £1 10s. 6d. in money; total value, £3 18s. Trousers identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about thirty-five, height about 5 ft. 6 in., broad shoulders, brown hair turning grey, short fingers; dressed in a -grey coat and vest, light flannel trousers, and fawn felt hat.

Paeroa. —17th ultimo, from the Criterion Hotel, the property of ZILLA SMITH, an 18 ct. gold engagement-ring with three diamonds in claw setting, “ Z.V.T.” engraved inside; value, £2O. Identifiable.

. Hamilton. —9th April last, the property of MURIEL CONSTANCE FOSTER, Tuhikaramea Road, a dark mahogany steel guitar in light canvas case with black edges ; and two music-books, one by Bishaw and one by Keoki, with complainant’s name inside : total value, £5 Bs, Identifiable.

Wairoa.— WILLIAM GREIG’S pistol stolen : The notice should read “ March, 1923,” not “ March last.” (See Police Gazette, 1929, page 448.)

Stratford. SUMMERFIELD, Broadway, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle, No. 23962, upturned handles, no grips, Lightband and Wann transfer, rat-trap pedals ; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Carterton. —Between the 27th June last and the 9th ultimo, from the dwelling of CHRISTINE VALENTINE LEWIS, High Street, a 9 ct. gold bamboo-shape bangle in three pieces with gold-knot connecting links ; and a Hawk’s Eye folding camera, No. 2, for size 120 film, small dent in film-case : total value, £8 12s. 6d. Identifiable.

Carterton. —On the 19th or 20th ultimo the Eagle Brewery was broken into and the following stolen, the property of W. BURRIDGE AND SON : £lO 3s. Bd. in money ; a postal note for 155., issued at Mauriceville on the 12th July, 1929, with a number between A. 432450 and A. 432455 ; and a postal note for 25., issued at Mauriceville on the 12th July, 1929, with number between B. 172950 and B. 172953. Not identifiable.
